Fare Thee Well

Fare thee well respected friend,
You’ve spread your wings and had to fly,
Just like a dove flying through the clouds,
Away from here, up through the sky.

Fare thee well, your time has now come,
You must now be on your own long way,
You’re to be bid good bye from everyone,
Leaving memories for all those that stay.

Fare thee well, may we meet again,
Someday in the distant future far,
After we too have spread our wings,
And done our best to shine like a star.

Fare thee well, you’ve done so much,
For the legacy you leave is great,
Your work has made a lot of difference,
Helping to change the futures past fate.

Fare thee well, You shall be greatly missed,
You’re off to a different place for sure,
Though stars still shine and birds do fly,

May you enjoy where you are forevermore.
