An Ideal Christmas

Busy little chefs in kitchens,
Helping cook a festive feast,
Squeals of laughter, lots of fun,
Mess not bothering in the least.

Houses lit with lights all aglow,
Children with tinsel to their knees,
Sparkling bauble decorations galore,
Festive wonderland made to please.

Santa's are placed where least expected,
Gift giving bringing great joy,
Giant smiles on loved ones faces,
From special gifts, perhaps a toy.

Carol Melodies sung and played,
Merrily all festive season through,
Red, green, white and gold a plenty,

Merry Christmas from me to you!
