Ever Majestic,
Those golden crowns,
Floating on their royal branches,
Long bendy and green brown.

Baby gum nuts clustered close,
Strong, so hard and round,
Hidden by an army of lush leaves,
Protected way above the ground.

Red, blue, and spotted too,
Swaying softly in a cool breeze,
Evergreen eucalyptus home,
For koalas, birds, bugs and bees.

Grounded roots through tall tops,
Standing tall for all to see,
Aussie landmark through and through,
Gumtree beauty for you and me!
