Electrical Storm

Dark clouds fast approaching,
Dangerous winds violently gust,
Dust, loose leaves, mud and debris,
Finding secure shelter is a must.

Lightning strikes in darkened skies,
Rumbling thunder follows, BANG!
Rain streaking to quench the ground,
Icy hail bounces off all, ting tang!

Rain steadies, thunder ceased,
Flash flooding fast on the rise,
Rivers raging, stock swept away,
Causing destruction where it lies.

Once all quiet, debris cleaned,
Water covering where it's been,
Rainbows, green flora, cool air,
The storms results are easily seen.
